Practical Updates in Anesthesiology

The University of Michigan is pleased to present the Tenth Practical Updates in Anesthesiology. This course is designed to provide the anesthesia practitioner with a review of the most recent information in many of the components that go into making a successful practice of Anesthesiology. 

2007 Brochure

The topics for this year’s meeting will include clinical topics concerning geriatric, pediatric, obstetric and cardiac anesthesia. Also, subjects regarding neuroprotection, critical care and the care and evaluation of patients with congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias will be addressed. Special to the course this year will be several lectures provided by national leaders in the area of quality assurance, quality improvement and physician well-being. As always, we will have our case discussions, as well as updates on regulatory issues for anesthesiologists. We will also have the ever popular “Tricks of the Trade.” Audience participation is welcomed and encouraged for all sessions.
