Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography

For the past several years, the Department of Anesthesiology has offered  a two-day course in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. This course is aimed at practicing anesthesiologists, CRNAs and residents who are interested in learning about TEE in the perioperative setting. The course should be especially useful for those persons preparing to take certification examinations.

Last year's course featured presentations by two guest lecturers, Solomon Aaronson, MD and Steven Konstadt, MD. Guest speakers and topics for the 2004 course will be announced soon.
