This site was produced with Microsoft's FrontPage and is best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above. I strongly recommend using IE 5.5 or 6.0. Alternatively, these pages can be viewed with Netscape Navigator 4.07 (or earlier versions of either browser), but some of the formatting and advanced features will not be rendered properly by these browsers.

Tools Used to Create this Site

This is the third generation web site for the Dept. of Anesthesiology. The first site was created almost entirely with BBEdit on a Macintosh. This original site was hosted on a Unix server. The second and third generation sites were made with Microsoft FrontPage. The current site is hosted on a Novell Netware server that is running the Apache web server.

Most of the recent photographs were take with a Nikon CoolPix 4500 digital camera and post-processed with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 using Extensis Intellihance.

We use an absolutely fantastic tool, called Transit Central, from Stellant (formerly InfoAccess) to convert Microsoft Office documents into HTML This software is a "must have" for anyone wishing to publish word processing documents to the Web.
