Community Outreach
The lab regularly hosts visiting groups of students from local schools where plastinated specimens are displayed during these visits. The specimens are intended to educate people the importance of understating the structure of the human body and to demonstrate the adverse effects of substance abuse and smoking on body systems. Medical and undergraduate students take active roles in organizing and running these visits.
