Community of Science Profile

To determine the feasibility of a teratogenic drug analysis using the postimplantation mouse embryo for in vitro cultivation with subsequent analysis of selective cytotoxicity or embryocidal effects. The long range goal is to determine the effects of an altered physical environment on developmental rate and quality during the postimplantation period of mammalian development, including alterations in the physical milieu, normal metabolites, exogenous chemicals, and irradiation.
