For Clinicians

The MADRC is dedicated to conducting research on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and enhancing the clinical care of Alzheimer’s patients and their families. Referrals to MADRC studies will enable the research team to continue to contribute to the growing knowledge about the cause of and treatment for diseases that impair memory. Below is information on how to refer your patient or client to a MADRC study or for a clinical dementia evaluation.

Research Referral

The MADRC provides periodic evaluations, depending on the specific research protocol, for patients participating in research studies. This service does not substitute for their regular clinical care. All tests/evaluations are performed for research purposes only, but some results may have relevance to the participant’s clinical care. A copy of neuropsychological test results and brain imaging reports may be shared with the participant’s physician.

To refer your patient or client to a MADRC study, please download the Patient Information Form. This form can be completed by the patient and/or family member and mailed to the research center. If you have any questions regarding our studies or recruitment process, please contact the MADRC Study Coordinator, Aviva Meyers, at 734-764-8445.
