Pilot Projects

The MADRC seeks new investigators annually withinterests in the neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer's.  In addition, established investigators are also sought with experience and a track record in other areas who are interested in applying their expertise to problems related to the dementias. Applications can range from clinical research, including epidemiology, diagnosis, therapy, patient management and caregiver problems, to fundamental research, including animal models, biochemical/molecular approaches, genetics, and physiological and pharmacological studies relevant to Alzheimer's and other dementias.

Please submit the following pages: 12 month budget form to detail your $35,000 request, biosketch page, abstract page and other support page. No other forms are necessary. There is an 8-10 page limit for the Research Plan (Specific Aims, Background and Significance, Preliminary Studies/Progress Report, Research Design and Methods).
