Cores
The MADRC is composed of five core programs.
- The Administrative Core provides administrative support and promotes effective communication among all of the cores and research projects.
- The Clinical Core provides patient evaluation, cognitive testing, diagnosis, treatment and opportunities to participate in research.
- The Education and Information Transfer Core assists with patient recruitment and provides education to health care professionals and families personally affected by Alzheimer's.
- The Data Core provides data analysis and support for investigators at the MADRC.
- The Neuropathology Core, which includes a brain bank and coordinates the collection, storage and postmortem analysis of brain tissue for research purposes.
