After childhood fertility preservation, what are the state-of-the-art options?
Target audience – urologists and general pediatric providers within the University of Michigan Health System as well as within the state of Michigan.
Following this activity, participants will understand and be able to implement into daily practice the following:
- Outline salient points for etiology and pathology of cryptorchidism includingtreatment options and implications for counseling of patient and parents.
- Improved infertility and neoplasia outcomes associated with cryptorchidism.
- Advanced research alternatives concerning germ cell preservation in the pediatric population.
- Refined treatment options for the azoospermic male after chemotherapy or radiation for childhood malignancy.
