Research: Young Scholars Summer Program
How to Apply
**2008 PNR&D Scholars have already been chosen. Please apply for 2009. Thank you.**
The requirements for the PNR&D Scholars are as follows:
- Must be enrolled in a four-year college or university (entering freshmen and graduated seniors are acceptable).
- Must work 10 40-hour weeks during the summer of 2008 (these weeks are flexible and contingent on the student's summer schedule).
- A background in neurology and/or previous laboratory experience is preferable, but not necessary.
To apply for the PNR&D Young Scholars Summer Program 2008 you must submit the following:
- A resume including your contact information, educational background and experience (must include e-mail).
- Your college transcript (if you are an entering freshman, please submit your high school transcript).
- Two recommendations (we suggest these be from either professors or previous employers).
- A brief (one page) letter on why you wish to be a PNR&D Scholar, and what you hope to accomplish over the summer.
