Movement Disorders Fellowship in Neurology
The Movement Disorders Fellowship is a flexible 1- to 2-year subspecialty training experience in movement disorders. The fellowship is primarily an outpatient training experience with rotation through the University of Michigan Movement Disorders Clinic, Ataxia Clinic, Neurogenetics Clinic, Chemodenervation (botulinum toxin) Clinic, interdisciplinary Deep Brain Stimulation Clinic (run jointly with the Department of Neurosurgery), and Cognitive Disorders Clinic. Clinical research experiences, mainly focused on PET imaging, are available. Completion of an accredited neurology residency is necessary.
