My parents emigrated to the U.S. from Greece, and I was born and raised in Minnesota along with my two younger siblings. After residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the U of M, my wife and I returned home to MN where I now enjoy practice at the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology. My extra-curriculars include playing and refereeing soccer, sprint triathlons, partaking in many outdoor activities, listening to classical music, tasting wine, and other activities of generalized merriment. I chose the University of Michigan because the Neurology program is powerful in both academic and clinical aspects; the faculty as a whole are very motivated teachers, and the diverse training prepares well-balanced individuals for any career in Neurology. The Ann Arbor area reminded me of home, the winters are milder than Minnesota, and the Midwest-paced lifestyle suited us well.
