Strategies to Improve Healthcare Quality Through Cultural Competency Practices
The UMHS, Program for Multicultural Health, in collaboration with Wayne State University and Michigan State University wishes to inform you that the two day symposium, “Strategies to Improve Healthcare Quality through Cultural Competency Practices,” scheduled October 29 and 30, 2009, will not occur. The decision not to have the symposium, at this time, resulted from low registration numbers, as of this date. Please know that we are exploring the possibility of rescheduling the event in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Individuals and teams who have paid their registration fee(s) will be fully reimbursed.
We wish to thank you for your interest in our symposium and the important work of advocating for cultural competency in healthcare. We look forward to having a future opportunity to build partnerships in promoting this essential component in healthcare delivery.
