DERMATOLOGY RESEARCH Principal Investigator

The University of Michigan Department of Dermatology is seeking candidates for a full-time research faculty position in our Skin Genomics Program. We seek an innovative and accomplished investigator with postgraduate training in bioinformatics and laboratory-based research in functional genomics to complement and diversify existing departmental research areas including psoriasis genetics, psoriasis immunology (including microbiome studies), skin cancer and aging skin.

The successful candidate will be expected to successfully compete for national peer-reviewed research funding (e.g., NIH) as a principal investigator. Applicants must possess an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD with relevant postgraduate training. The University of Michigan offers an exceptional array of benefits. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, and will include startup funds appropriate for the proposed research program. Faculty rank will be decided on an individual basis.
