Yun Liang, PhD was appointed as a research investigator in the Department of Dermatology in 2016, and is a member of the Psoriasis Immunology and Immunogenetics Research Program. Dr. Liang received her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California – San Diego and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in 2013. She joined the University of Michigan in 2015 as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Dermatology in Dr. Gudjonsson’s lab.
Working under Dr. Gudjonsson’s direction, Dr. Liang is engaged in research seeking to functionally characterize the molecular and immunologic pathways involved in various inflammatory and autoimmune skin diseases. She is exploring the molecular basis for sex bias in human diseases, including gender/sex differences in inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
