Dr. Jeffrey Orringer, a graduate of Harvard Medical School, received his training in dermatology and surgery at the University of Michigan.

He also completed additional specialty training in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology at the University of Michigan. As a faculty member in the Department of Dermatology, he specializes in laser surgery, cosmetic dermatology, non-melanoma skin cancer, Mohs surgery, and reconstructive surgery. He serves as the Director of the Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Center and is Service Chief of the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Orringer is actively involved in clinical and biochemical research involving the fields of laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He has authored several publications in prominent medical journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), the Archives of Dermatology, and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is listed in Best Doctors in America and in Who's Who in Medical Sciences Education, and his research has recently been discussed in TIME magazine. Dr. Orringer has also been invited to lecture on laser therapy at prestigious national medical meetings such as the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery Annual Meeting, the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, and the Dermatology Foundation Clinical Symposia.
