Echocardiography
Echocardiography provides a non-invasive assessment of cardiovascular function. The Echocardiography Core Facility provides echocardiographic assessment of cardiac performance of both small (mouse, rats and superficial embryonic) and large (rabbit, canine, primates, pigs and sheep) animal models.
This form of non-invasive assessment is ideal for performing serial evaluations of cardiac function or real-time monitoring during and after pharmacologic or therapeutic intervention. Protocols are adaptable to the needs of the investigator.
