Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web site.
Since becoming the Director and CEO of the Hospitals and Health Centers, I have heard from many of you about a variety of issues. I appreciate your taking the time to share your thoughts, and I recognize the challenges we face in communicating across a large and complex organization. I am hopeful that this Web site will facilitate dialogue about important issues as we work together to make a Michigan Difference every day.
It is important to me that I meet and communicate with a large number of you. To do that, I have re-initiated the CEO/Employee meetings, which provide a small, informal forum for open discussion about workplace issues of importance to you. I also have been meeting with many different groups, sometimes making a presentation on the state of the HHC, while other times just listening and learning. The Employee Q&A page on this Web site provides answers to the various questions employees have raised both at the CEO/Employee meetings and during my visits.
I want to hear from all HHC employees and am open to all forms of communication. Send me an e-mail, ask to participate in a future CEO/Employee meeting or invite me to visit your area. Whatever works for you.
I have very high aspirations for the HHC. Based on what I have heard from many of you, while we may communicate it a bit differently, all of us have the same desire for excellence in providing the best possible care to our patients, now and in the future. I look forward to hearing from you.
