Referring Physician Advisory Council on Communication and Services
The University of Michigan Health System established the Referring Physician Advisory Council to promote communication and facilitate planning between UMHS faculty and physicians who refer to the UMHS. The Advisory Council provides a forum for referring physicians' input regarding such issues as methods for responding to the changing health care environment.
Objectives:
- Enhance two-way communication with UMHS referring physicians.
- Identify current UMHS referring physician services and informational needs.
- Alert UMHS faculty and staff to the changing needs of referring physicians.
