The University of Michigan Health System provides health promotion and health education services for community members to create healthy communities for all.

MFit’s Community Health Initiatives program strives to identify unmet needs within the community for health care services and health promotion and education activities and to collaborate with other county health professionals to provide resources to meet identified needs. Community Health Initiatives works to raise awareness among UMHS, staff, faculty, and students of the opportunities to provide community service.
