MFit Nutrition was established in the late 1980s to help individuals optimize their health by making healthier food choices. Today with cooking classes, a weight management program, seminars, and healthy eating resources, we are committed to improving the health status of UM employees, their families and the community.

MFit Healthy Cooking Classes
Renowned culinary experts make high fit – low fat cooking and eating tastier, healthier, and easier than ever! Registration for the 2008-2009 season opens August 13th at 9am. Discounts available. Visit the Cooking Class page for more information.

Nutrition Coaching - NEW!
MFit Nutrition Coaches are registered dietitians, degreed nutrition experts you can trust. Whether you're unsure of how to balance your caloric and nutritional needs, trying to make sense of conflicting nutritional information or just looking for support in your continued weight loss efforts, an MFit Nutrition Coach will help you in a non-judgmental, confidential way. Healthy Dining
Making good food choices means fueling your body with a variety of nutrient-rich foods that provide energy you need for today and protection from tomorrow's major illnesses, like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. Items marked with the MFit logo meet specific standards for fat, sugar, sodium, cholesterol, and fiber depending on the food category.
